Learn by shipping real software.
A small number of students and recent graduates work on Ekalix Radar itself - the monitoring software companies run - with a named mentor, code reviews and demos. Remote-friendly, one to six months, with a stipend set out in your offer letter. There is no application fee and no internship fee: you never pay to be an Ekalix intern.
Ekalix internshipsA real piece of Ekalix Radar.
Interns take on a real part of the product - not an exercise invented for the internship - and it is reviewed to the same bar as any engineer's work. Pick the track closest to what you want to learn.
Database engineering
SQL Server and PostgreSQL: the queries behind Radar's checks, indexing, backups, availability groups and the data Radar keeps.
Automation
PowerShell and C# that collect, check and alert - the engine that watches hundreds of servers without an agent on any of them.
Web and interface
Radar's own pages in plain JavaScript, HTML and CSS - charts, live pages, and this website.
Quality and testing
The test suites that gate every release: real-click browser tests, parity tests between engines, and the checks that keep payments exact.
Cloud and DevOps
Git, the release pipeline, the Cloudflare and Supabase setup behind ekalix.com, and the Windows service that runs Radar.
Technical writing
Install guides, runbooks and the plain-English explanations Radar shows for every finding.
Selected on merit. Never paid for.
Openings are limited and depend on the work we have, so we select a small number of applicants through a short task and a conversation. If there is no place right now, we say so.

For colleges
We take interns from any institution, and we provide what your college needs for each student: a project description, duration and hours, an attendance record, a mid-way and final evaluation, a completion certificate and the mentor's sign-off on the report. Write to hr@ekalix.com or see partnerships for colleges.
What we promise, and what we don't.
No fee, ever
There is no application fee and no internship fee, and nothing to buy to be considered. You never pay to be an Ekalix intern - anyone asking you for money in our name is not us.
Certificates and credit
Your certificate is issued by Ekalix, a private company, and records what you did, your hours and your evaluation. It is not a government or university qualification; whether it counts toward credits is your college's decision.
Jobs and placements
We do not promise jobs or placements. You finish with real work to show, skills employers use and, if you do well, a recommendation letter.
Tell us about yourself.
Applying is free and takes about five minutes. It needs a free Ekalix account, so your application and every reply are there to follow under Account.
